For most healthy adults who can breathe comfortably through the nose, yes. But there's a real exception, and it matters: if your nose is blocked, taping your mouth removes your backup airway. A 2025 systematic review specifically flagged a risk of asphyxiation in people with nasal obstruction. Don't use it if you have congestion, allergies, a deviated septum, or a cold — and if you snore loudly, gasp or choke in your sleep, or feel exhausted during the day despite sleeping enough, get evaluated for sleep apnea before you try this. Nasal blockage also changes overnight, so if you can't breathe through your nose when lying down, take the tape off.

That's what the contoured design is for. The speakers are ultra-thin and sit flat rather than protruding into the pillow, and the eye cups are domed so there's no pressure on the eyelids. Side sleeping is the main case we specified it for. That said, comfort is personal — if it doesn't work for you, send it back within 30 days.

It uses a medical-grade adhesive made by a surgical dressings manufacturer, so it's designed for skin contact and removes cleanly. If you have sensitive skin, test a patch on your forearm for a few hours first. Remove it gently rather than pulling, and don't apply to broken or irritated skin. If irritation persists, stop using it and contact us.
